Say Good-bye to Varicose Veins

Description:Worried about your veins? Come to this program led by Dr. Biagio Manna, a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with the Vein Center at Hamilton. Alzheimer’s Workshop

Description:This multidisciplinary workshop will begin with a discussion, “Demystifying Dementia,” led by Dr. Scott Kolander, a gerontologist with West Trenton Medical Associates. Other speakers will include an elder care attorney and a social worker who can help you plan the care for your loved one. Light breakfast provided.

A Healthy Approach to Treating Depression

Description:Join us for a multidisciplinary discussion on the treatment of depression, including some of the common fears about seeking help. Dr. Steven Levine, psychiatrist, and Mindy Komosinsky, registered dietitian, will cover medication and non-medication options, as well as good self-care, healthy eating habits, and the concept of mindfulness to support a healthy body and mind. Refreshments provided.

Description:Heart disease is the biggest threat to women’s health. Learn strategies for thriving in midlife and beyond, including prevention and early detection. The discussion will include the role of diet, exercise, hormones, and sleep. The evening will start with Dr. Rim Al-Bezem, cardiologist, followed by Suzanne Nawrock and Kathleen Woods, nurse practitioners from Capital Health’s Center for Women’s Health.
